Remote Order Taking - Catering EPoS Case Study
Hospitality at Neath Rugby is a vital component in developing sustainable, long-term revenue to benefit Welsh Rugby. Neath Rugby offer superb banqueting facilities for corporate and non-corporate clients alike. To provide an enhanced corporate experience, Neath Rugby invested in a handheld table order taker and modern touch screen point of sale.
Several key objectives were identified which the solution was to address. Firstly, to reduce queues at the bar and create a superb client experiences. Secondly to increase the spend per head of each of the hospitality clients, and thirdly to maintain fast and reliable point of sale operation. ECR introduced the latest in wireless tablet PC technology with colour-coded designer point of sale running software designed and written by ECR.
To ensure smooth running and integration to existing procedures, ECRs installation team attended several events, with close scrutiny by ECR and Neath Rugby management to monitor and measure the performance and return on investment. After only a few events it was clear that service provided was well received by clients, the system performed well under pressure and was providing a significant return on investment.
The remote order taker is now an integral part of the quality hospitality experience that Neath’s clients enjoy at the Gnoll.
