Bradford Football Club - Retail EPoS Case Study
When Software4Sport recommended ECR to Bradford City FC, the club was using an EPoS solution that gave problems and was poorly supported. Bradford City needed a reliable, easy to use and future proof solution. Bradford also wanted to get a better understanding of their customers in order to facilitate targeted marketing campaigns, so profiling based on purchasing patterns was key.
As with other clubs, lack of manufacturer barcodes was an issue for Bradford. ECR’s stock control solution together with a fire-and-forget label printer allowed every product to be bar-coded prior to the new kit launch, simplifying stock management as a whole.
Stock control was an essential requirement. Stocktaking is made easier by the use of a hand-held laser scanning stock take device. This device facilitates cyclical stock taking which reduces the disruption a full stock take creates, and importantly, the cost of stocktaking.
Connection to Talent Sport allows customer information collected from ticket sales to be available at each point of sale. Sales made to a season ticket holder are stored. The inherent robustness of the solution allows each point of sale to function independently in the event of a network failure.
